Évora Olive Oil Tasting + Cork Factory Visit 01

Get picked up from your accommodation and start this Alentejo private tour towards Monte Oliveira Velha, located about 26 minutes from Évora.

This farm produces the olive oil brand “Amor é cego” (love is blind), of Galician variety, in biological production from a traditional olive grove with about 70 years, planted by family members.

We will start with the visit to the Olive grove, explaining its history, the variety of Galician olives and what needs to be done to produce a high-quality olive oil.

Enjoy your olive oil tasting under the shade of a 2000-year-old olive tree.

Évora Olive Oil Tasting + Cork Factory Visit 02

Next you will have a delicious meal with regional products from Alentejo.

Continuing your full-day Évora private tour, you will now visit the Cork Factory in Évora, where you can see the many uses of cork and perhaps indulge in some shopping.

Time permitting, you can visit Évora and the main UNESCO sights before departing back to Lisbon.
Your driver will drop you off at your accommodation and this will complete your Évora olive oil tasting and cork factory visit full-day private tour.

Ricardo was more than accommodating! His help and service was 5 star. He coordinated so many things for us, was there to make sure we made our activities. We had 3 drivers that were personable, safe and kind. Jakim (totally did not spell this correctly) was my favorite although the other two drivers were safe and informative on our drives from city to city. I can’t say enough about Ricardo’s service. He was always available to text or call for any questions or suggestions. I would totally reserve his services again when in Portugal!
