Ricardo was born in Lisbon but spent his first three years living in the USA. Since then, he has resided in Cascais up until the present day. Due to family reasons, Ricardo’s education began at a Military School, which instilled in him the values and ideas that have shaped him into the person he is today. Subsequently, Ricardo decided to pursue a degree in Tourism because he enjoys meeting new people and exchanging ideas. He loves to engage in conversation, learn, and showcase the true Portuguese culture of his country, region, and city.
Ricardo’s goal at 4U2ENJOY is to help you become more acquainted with Portugal and share a memorable experience together.
João was only three months old when he first had a taste of traveling, flying from Macau, where he was born, to Lisbon with stopovers in Hong Kong, San Francisco, and New York. He was hooked for life!
Fast forward to today, he has completely mixed business with pleasure and has been working in the travel industry for 15+ years, having visited 96 countries so far (but who’s counting?!). So, when his childhood friend Ricardo challenged him to partner up and join the 4U2Enjoy team, he knew he had to share his own experience and passion with other globetrotters and together with our trusted partners, help create the most unique and memorable travel experiences.
Rita’s love for discovering the world began at the age of 16 when she embarked on her first solo adventure, sparking a lifelong enthusiasm for exploration. Having volunteered in the communities of Cambodia and Cape Vert, she has not only broadened her cultural horizons but also developed a deep commitment to making a positive impact through travel.
Originally hailing from the Alentejo region, Rita has proudly called Lisbon home since 2014. Despite her diverse travel experiences, there’s a special place in her heart for the beauty, traditions, and flavors of Portugal. With every trip, she invites others to experience the authentic charm and warmth that this beautiful country has to offer.
As Rita always says, “there’s always something new to see, to feel, to eat in this beautiful country; it’s like a never-ending adventure”.
